After failing twice at starting his own business, Donald Brann tried a third time and succeeded. He realized that full-size patterns could be used on all types of surfaces and with that idea began his own company, Easi-Bild Pattern Company of Pleasantville, New York. Brann sold millions of patterns in America's largest department, hardware, and syndicate stores.
